To provide a Christian environment that promotes spiritual growth,  unity and sisterhood among the women of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.

Romans 12:9-13 - 9Let love be without dissimulation. Luke 1:26-31 - 26And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

SISTER,  I AM A CHILD OF GOD...

 

I have been transformed by the renewing of my mind – no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and any tongue that rises against me in judgment will fall!!!

 

I dwell in the secret place of the Most High God - He is my safe place to fall - He is the Rock of my salvation.

 

The Word of God energizes me to stay in the battle. It lets me know that I will win if I faint not.

 

The first statement of my bible says: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” By the time the earth was formed, He knew how many hairs would be on my head. Therefore, I know that He will never fail me in anything. There is no need for me to worry because His rod and His staff comfort me.

 

There is no reason for me to fret, because He has not given me the spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE and a SOUND MIND!

 

My past does not prevent me from being eligible for service in the kingdom of God.

 

There is no reason for me to be dismayed, because God is my shield and my exceeding great reward.

 

Nothing can harm me, disarm me or alarm me, because the God I serve is a great and faithful God.

 

Can I count on you to help me?

 

When you look around and don’t see me – call me.

 

When you see me and I’m still not here – call me, again.

 

When I’m here but not engaged, call me to action – help me stay involved!!!

 

When Sisters help Sisters we all prosper, and I’m your Sister...
